Braunton has all amenities such as shops, chemists, post office, Caen Medical Centre, dentist, veterinary practice and other shops catering for all one's needs, but still maintains a friendly village atmosphere.
The village is a ten minute walk from Dune View Park and there is a bus service from the stop at the Park entrance and a convenience store is also nearby.
BARNSTAPLE
Barnstaple is just 6 miles away; there is a regular bus service and several supermarkets have a free bus service to pick up shoppers from the park entrance.
SAUNTON SANDS
Saunton with its 3 miles of golden sand and Championship Golf Course is 2 miles from us.
